What About the Ground Zero Church? Archdiocese Says Officials Abandoned Project
The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America accused New York officials on Tuesday of turning their backs on the reconstruction of the only church destroyed in the Sept. 11 attacks, while the controversial mosque near Ground Zero moves forward.

To replace any Orthodox Church with a mosque is obscene. Is it not bad enough that we have Muslims squatting in Hagia Sofia and the Dome of the Rock. An Orthodox Church is a place of worship, primarily, but also of reflection and prayer – I am Russian Orthodox not Greek, but we are both members of Christ's body on earth. May human sense and the influence of the Church, with the support of our Lord resolve this problem.
Then again, you poor people elected a secret Muslim president who almost certainly is not a citizen. If he were any less useless, one would wonder about his being the anti-Christ. Writing from Australia I can only say "think before you vote". Check his credentials in detail. Your great country is heading towards third world status with its debt and the moron running the country.
The man is a major embarrassment to the civilized world. He might make a third rate district commissioner in Kenya!!!!

He was declaring victory for Islam in America. This is exactly why he is supporting the Mosque and why it is called the Cordoba project, another declaration of Islam victory. The date for dedication on 9/11 should make Americans so angry, they should realize this has nothing to do with religious freedom rights, but to do with Islam taking over America. All the bills, changes and everything Obama has done is to make America fall and to keep the people subdued!!!

The majority of the American people were not "hood-winked" by our Imposter of a President. -lmyersTake it to Mayor Michael Bloomberg and demand an awnser why the Greek Orthodox Church is not allowed to rebuild. Is it because they did not apply to rebuild? Is it political presure from the democarts and the Obama administration. Public servants are to serve and answer truthfully to the people that elected them. The citizens of NYC and New York put it to a vote. It's your city and state. Your elected represenatives are supposed to represent the wishes of the majority of the citizens that are legally able to vote. Tell them what to do about the mosque, don't ask them.

-NannyBefore Islam is allowed to build any new mosque in the United States, it should be required to pay restitution to the Greek Orthodox Church of St. Nicholas in the amount of $100 million. That would be penance for all the damage, hurt, and suffering that the Greek Orthodox members of St. Nicholas had to endure. After the Church of St. Nicholas has completed rebuilding its facility, then possibly a new mosque in the United States might be considered.

Mitchellthere are enough pilots to do the job, but getting throuh to air to it will be near impossible. but there are many types of land vehicles that can carry many types of explosive products necessary to be deliveried to many companies in and arround the site that would be able to get close enough to render it vaporized.. and i am sure someone who is thinking of doing a disasterous thing to the mosque would be able to do it. what a thought. remember that someone tried to blow up the twin towers under clintons watch but was unsuccesful. In this case it would be a probable success. just a thought.
