    I agree with both of you about Obama's faith. How can anyone be called a christian who doesn't believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven. You can't be a Christian if you don't believe that. It's in the bible. The only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ. From all I've learned, Obama is the same 'religion' as Opra Winfrey. They don't believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven. That has been called "new age" religion, not Christianity. How the Evangelicals can call him a Christian is beyond me. Even if he said the sinners prayer, if you don't say it with your mouth, and BELIEVE IT in your heart,how can you be a Christian? Personally, I consider him to be a false profit, and the bible warns us about them in the last days. He puts down the bible, and loves the muslim religion, and was raised a muslim. The bible says, "raise up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he shall not depart from it." He was raised a muslim. He shows strong favoratism to the muslim, islamic people, and acts like he's trying to get the terrorist freed with out consequences. If he isn't the antichrist, he's got to be in the mainstream of who it is. Christians don't act like him, talk like him, or believe like him. Now does that mean the Lord can't change him? Not at all. It'll take corporate prayer, I believe. One thing I've learned, if you pray for your enemies, you have a much better chance of getting rid of them. God's will would be that he would turn to Christ. As much as it may hurt, pray for his salvation. Pray for Jesus to show himself real to him. And allthough we shouldn't have to forgive his actions, we do need to forgive him the man, just as Jesus forgave us. We don't fight against flesh and blood, but over all the power of the enemy, etc. Satan and his cohorts are the enemy.

When O. was running for president, I began listening to his speeches and asked myself "What are we in for with this one?" Slowly I got he answers and over the years(all 2 of them!) things began to fall into place and I began "connecting the dots" as the phrase goes..Obama may say he is Christian, but remember, he is first a polititian. I have noticed that when he speaks, he may say one thing, but mean another. As far as the religion goes, he still acts more like a Muslim than a Christian, but if you remember that there is a political part to him, it could be that he is just saying what he thinks you want to hear. I did see the video where he was making fun of the Bible – that, I believe was not correct in any sense.

If the man is a true Christian he will announce to all of us that he is. God requires that we pass His Word on to others through our actions, words, and deeds. If the president is a Christian – is he following God's commandments? The scriptures tell us we will know a tree by its fruit – because a good tree can not produce bad fruit and a bad tree can not produce good fruit – it also says if we do not honor God, he will not honor us. In an interview with George Stephanopoulos from ABC during the presidential campaign, President Obama acknowledged " his Muslim faith" and even thanked senator McCain for his understanding and not pressing the issue of "his Muslim faith".

This interview should be easily found in the archives of ABC News and this should put a rest to the question whether the president is a Moslem.

Obama attended two schools in Indonesia, one Catholic and one Islamic. In both cases, he was registered as a Muslim. Normally I would answer No. But Islamism is more than a religion. It is a culture which promotes and requires its membership to live under Shari'a law.

Our president is sworn to uphold the United States Constitution, which contradicts the gender inequalities, advocacy of violence and religious intolerance of Shari'a law (and much more). No one whose religion defies the U.S. Constitution is qualified to serve as president or member of Congress.

So yes, it does matter in Obama's case.

I happen to believe he is a Muslim. I don't remember where I heard this but because his father was a Muslim, he is by default a Muslim. The Muslim world considers him a Muslim. His mother has no affect on that. They discount anything that isn't a Muslim. He has proven many ties over what he believes. That said the religion of the President is usually not important to me. In this case it happens to be a big deal. I foolishly expect the President of the United States to be loyal to this country, He is not!

The quoted Article does not mean that the individual voter cannot cast his/her vote based on the candidates religion.

Many people have, and will continue to vote on "candidates" based on their (the voters) beliefs vs the candidates beliefs, and hopefully, other criterion.

Using information and basing decisions on that information is the proper way to vote. When that information is glossed over by the media but especially by the press, and fogged over by the dandidate, then one has to base their decisions solely on their best judgment.

To me, that is the only way to vote and when votes are bought, that is criminal and not using the good sense that GOD gave us and is one of the major factors in "What's wrong with America!"

Billy Cooper, if people had done their search they had known who he was, but none of those who vote for him did and what a big mistake. Now we are suffering their consequences. What bothers me the most about this man is that he uses scripture selectively when he needs a vote or support on his programs. His stance on abortion should scare a true Christian away from him. A pope said, give me a child until he is seven and he will have a catholic heart forever. There is much truth in the statement. In 2007 Obama said there was no more beautiful sound at dusk than the muslim call to pray. He may have converted to a form of Christianity but checkout his pastor for 20 years and what he taught or check out who his spiritual advisor is now. Neither of these preach a gospel of individual salvation based on Jesus Christ and his grace but a militant social doctrine more related to Marx than Christ. So is he a muslim? Probably not but he has deep and positive memories of its teachings. Is he a Christian? That depends on your definition of a Christian. My personal feeling is that he is closer to an agnostic with religious yearnings than a man of deep faith.

I recently saw an article stating that Obama admitted to being a Muslim in an interview in Saudi Arabia last year. Why would he tell them he was if he wasn't? It was revealed to me in prayer while Obama was running for office that he is muslim. I will stand on that. Anyone can claim to be Christian, baptized, go to church on a regular basis, but that does not make one Christian. There are as many claiming to be Christians that are not Christians as ones who really are. The bible says you must be born again. I am a born again Christian and I believe God's word. You will know a believer in Jesus Christ by the fruits. Beware of wolves in sheep's clothing. When laws are being passed to legalize the very things that are abominations to our Lord, that should reveal to all who truly worship the one true God where Obama and his cronies stand. We have to make decisions when voting for our leaders based on God's word. Wright's church follows the book called Black Theology. this book teaches racial bigotery, and was written by a black man, there he is a christian in the eyes of the black people, as well as in the eyes of those who serve under under him. Religion matters when the religion in question views no line between religion and government rule and determines that ALL people should be part of that religious faith. Though we have long called ourselves a Christian nation, there are plenty of individuals in this nation who have broken from that ideology and become part of other faiths like Judiasm, Buddhism, Islam, Pagan, etc. or chosen to have no religion at all. But the government restricted the idea that the President and/or government should advocate or dictate a "state religion" be practiced by American citizens. The issue here then remains if Obama supports Islamic principles, then the notion of Religous Freedom is more endangered than ever before. Islam dictates that no government can rule w/out being under Islamic religious rule…this is the code by which every predominantly Islamic nation lives and they have no tolerance for any other religious belief to the point of banishing or murdering those that choose to worship in other faiths but live in Islamic nations. If Obama ever believed in the Muslim faith, there will be lingering ideals of that religion that he will never forget or disregard. Islam isn't a faith you can walk away from, no matter how hard you try. In this case, it matters, period.

What people do not know, is at the time the Constitution etc., was written "religion" referred to the many different denominations and doctrines of Christianity. Mainly, I think, because many colonists had fled England where the war between Protestants and Catholics had been ongoing for generations and being one or the other could get you killed, depending on who was ruling at the time.

We are suppose to have separation of Church and State. With Obama's committment to muslim beliefs he has to many conflicts between the muslim and American way of life. It seem when Obama is in doubt, he follows the muslims and not the christians.

I believe he is a Muslim , also. I saw a video of him saying he was and then he spoke in the Muslim lanuage. He has taken American Flags away for many of his speaches, also in one he has a gold cloth behind the podium, which had all kinds of Muslim words and symbols. Why would he hate this country so much if he wasn't like other Muslims, who also want to destroy this country. The Muslims said they didn't believe their people were to blame for 911, which is stupid. They invaded the planes and forced the pilot to crash into certain areas, to show us how tough they are. Another thing I think is obnoxious is their blocking the New York St. while kneeling in their prayer to Allah. Why would the law allow that to be done , while if a Christian group did that they would be given fines or land in the courts.Ihope he gets impeached soon…

made the mistake in not recognizing that anyone whose beliefs oppose the Constitution should not

be allowed to be an American citizen and reside therein. Females are not chattel, slaves to men, to be stoned,

That is the question that the voters must ponder. As most voters are non-muslums, that means that he can lie to the voters without feeling any remorse or guilt feelings. He is definitely a muslim with all his background. He travelled to Pakistan in 1980 under an assumed passport. Nobody knows why. People have said that he was helping the FBI, for what no one knows. I also believe he was born in Kenya. According to a Video tape made in 2008 where he and his wife went to Africa to speak to a crowd of gay people on getting tested for HIV etc. During the speech she said " blah blah blah..in my husband's homeland", referring to Obama's birthplace in Africa as they were in Africa at the time. That tape was hidden for 2 years and has just surfaced. Glenn Beck played it on his radio programme. Very convenient!!! He is definitely not a CHRISTIAN. He is just saying that to deceive people of his true religion, ISLAM. I have read the interview which was done in 2004 when he was a young senator where he was quizzed about what he believes of his so-called Christian faith and he never once stated that the Lord Jesus was his personal Lord and Saviour.

He didn't believe in spreading the gospel to make disciples. He never once mentioned that The Holy Spirit came into his life. When asked who Jesus was to him he replied that Jesus was a good "teacher". A true Christian would never say that when asked what Jesus was to them. He is a liar and a deceiver. Christ (Messiah) Jesus is the holy son of Mary and Sign of God. Messiah Jesus Served and Worshiped his ONE God Only (not triune god) as he himself used to pray to his Father. Word "Father" in John 5:37 used for his ONE God whome he (Jesus) believed, does not mean the "biological father". The whole wold knows that Christ did not have any biological father. Therefore he (Messiah) is not the son of God, he (Messiah) is the (holy) son of (his mother) Mary only. God of Jesus is same God which Moses and Abraham used to worship. Why then Moses and Abraham are not sons of God?? Unfortunately, the followers erroneously believe that he (Jesus) is son of God because of his miraculous birth from Mary. If that miracle justifies in obtaining a status of son of God, then Adam deserves more than Jesus to be worshipped as son of God, since Adam's birth was a double miracle as compared to birth of Jesus. Because Adam was created without the father and mother both. But Adam is not taken as son of God for worship in Christianity, why? One should realize that both Moses and jesus followed the Way and religion of Abraham. Why not revert to the way and religion of Abraham which is independent of any confusion. Abraham was an upright man. God did take him (Abraham) as friend. Certainly both Moses and Jesus followed Abraham. Let's do the same, follow the true religion Abraham instead. Amen.
