Group Protests Christian Concert At Fort Bragg

A national organization is calling for the cancellation of a Christian event this weekend at Fort Bragg. Americans United for the Separation of Church and State says the planned "Rock the Fort" concert improperly enlists the military to make converts to Christianity. The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association says such concerts are common at military bases. But Saturday's event will be open to civilians for the first time.

If you Americans United folks don't like Christian Music and fellowship then don't go. Hello, any brain cells out there or just sheep mush?

I'm sure American Military Personnel are MORE than capable of making the decision of going or not without your help.

Thanks for Exposing yourselves Americans United for what your Group truly is. LOL! We do appreciate that, more than you know!

I am sick and tired of these various small tails wagging the dog,.no matter what their complaint may be.

These protests will continue until Christians stand up to thug organizations like the ACLU and AUSCS and make this message quite clear: God's Word does not teach that Church and State should be separate entities and God's Word is the only authority we recognize. We should also make it clear that the USA's problems today are caused by the fact that there is not enough God in our daily lives and in our culture.

This must be a miserable way to spend one's life. Constantly searching out any Christian influence in our society, culture, government, and schools in an effort to harass and destroy any Christian influence in America. These are very unhappy and small individuals, determined to rob those horrible Christians of their rights and drive the God of the Bible out of America. Why, these people actually BELIEVE the Ten Commandments, di you realize that?? And they want to teach them to their children! Awful, awful-it must be stopped! Why, if more people actually start believing the Ten Commandments, loving God and their fellow man, giving to charity, ministering to the sick and destitute-well, who knows what could happen! My Gosh, crime could conceivable go down-children might actually be safe walking home again, have respect for elders-why, they may start learning again in school, instead of watching their teachers have to deal with vile cursing and sex in the back of the classroom! No, no..we can't have this. Christianity must be stamped out!

Remember God will stamp these people out and they probably will not see heaven. I hope member of AUSCS will see the light. I have little hope for the ACLU members but maybe some will change their mind and accept God and has Son by moving to Christianity.

When in the service of the USA you always love it when the military allow a concert to be given on the base even though it is not christian.

I loved it, long time ago, when I was a serviceman (60 Years). I wish it had been Christian.

I wonder if the Americans United for the Separation of Church and State are as interested in L.A. schools that have Islamic materials being taught in them as they are in pounding on Christianity? Or are they as interested in the U.S. Gov't paying for an Islamic Imam to go overseas with tax payer funds???

It would seem they only hate Christians, we don't become violent towards them so they feel safe. I wonder???

when they took Bible teachers out of our schools and stopped the prayers in school that is when the children started going down hill they have no feelings for any one not even them selves they live for the moment and nothing else they take what they they want as if it is owed to them i am glad I cant have any more children i love the ones i have and they are all grown now and I brought them up the same as I was work for what you want and have respect for others put GOD first and things will work out have faith in the LORD

You are so right. I remember having prayer in school every morning and saying the Pledge of Allegiance too. They don't do that anymore either. Then they wonder why the kids today don't have any respect for anyone or anything. Respect is being stripped away for greed.

Ya know I don't see any of thos protesters wanting to give a concert for OUR TROOPS, do you? Our TROOPS deserve the festivity. Christian music and Christian consolement is what they need right now. A wonderful act of kindness. We need the CMA there to run those protesters off. Someone should have contacted them. I love the Christian Motorcycle Association. They sure got those a–hole protestors out of the Tombs of the unknown soldiers real quick and didn't say a word to do it just parked themselve right in the entrance all 100 of'em. How dare those protestors desacrate our Troops graves! It's enough they go fight for our nation and freedom and then get killed and do these idiots have to drive the sword in further AFTER they are dead. ALL the men and some women in my family are of some millitary branch retired still there or dead, Even my grandmothers were Riviters in WWI.
