Deanna Favre is relying on verses from Isaiah to keep her spirits up during the latest crisis in her life with Minnesota Vikings’ quarterback Brett Favre, who is currently in the scandal headlines for sending sexually explicit emails.

USA TODAY’s sports blog The Huddle, has Deanna’s appearance on ABC’s Good Morning America to promote her new book, The Cure for the Chronic Life, where she said,

I’m a woman of faith And faith has gotten me through many difficult struggles. It will get me through this one.

And what faith is that? Susan Hogan at Divinity and Beyond, has more on Deanna Favre, her book and beliefs:

… Favre said she’s posted biblical verses from Isaiah 41:9-14 to her refrigerator, which reminds her not to be afraid. “That’s what I’m leaning on.”
