Instead of a quiet start to the week, many Ball State students showed up to a battle over religious beliefs Monday.

Students drifted in and out of a crowd outside the Art and Journalism Building to listen — and argue — with father-son evangelists Jim and Chris Deferio during their seven-hour visit to campus.

The duo was advocating their religious beliefs and what they said were the followings of Jesus Christ.
