Pastor Pat Harrelson became a Christian on Sunday, June 29, 1970.
Harrelson remembers that day well. He was in county jail at the time.
“I was sick and tired of being sick and tired,” Harrelson said of his decision to embrace Christianity after three arrests, one of which resulted in a felony drug conviction.
It’s been 40 years since he was last arrested, and Harrelson believed he deserved forgiveness for his past. Former Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger agreed, granting a full and unconditional pardon on Dec. 31 for Harrelson’s felony offense.Continue Reading on www.bakersfield.com
