Frankfort Kentucky announced today on the local news station, wave 3 news, that it is on the verge of passing a new bill that would make it so public school kids could choose to take Christianity as an elective. Well to those that follow the Buddha’s path of peace, compassion and wisdom it would usually be something that is not touched.
Not only is Buddhism not a religion but is seen by most of the world as one but it teaches that any spiritual path is good and should be pursued. It also teaches that children need something to believe in and follow and something big to be a part of.
