Pro-lifer: Blacks 'Exterminating' Themselves

A pro-life advocate in Kansas is battling to fight the growing epidemic of abortion among blacks.

Reports indicate abortion is the leading cause of death within the African-American community in the U.S. According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), since 1973 — the year of the Supreme Court decision Roe v. Wade — 13 million African-American lives have been lost to abortion.

Peggy Elliott Ministries was honored with a $2,500 grant at the recent Servant Awards celebration in Wichita, Kansas. Dr. Peggy Elliott, ministry founder and president, says it is time for the genocide to stop.

"Between abortion and black-on-black crime, as a people group we're exterminating ourselves. We're not loving our children in the womb or outside of the womb," she shares. "So I have to do whatever it is that I can do to help save babies' lives and to make an impact on our culture.

What genocide? The choice of abortion rests with the individual and not a particular group or ethnicity. If the blacks are dying in droves because of abortions, it would appear that they are not obtaining legal abortions, but are visiting the termination of a pregnancy upon themselves, which is a dangerous and possibly lethal act. I think this kind of radical thinking serves as an impetus towards racism. Furthermore, if the males who provide the necessary "ingredient" to create a human being were more responsible for their actions, perhaps the abortion rate among this particular group would decline. Poor women, regardless of ethnicity, understand that the men who fathered these babies are not going to live up to their responsibility and will do what is necessary to terminate the pregnancy. If Planned Parenthood AND the pro-life radicals would provide more education to the communities they serve, perhaps there would be no debate regarding abortions. Unfortunately, both use fear to coerce their consumers. Both groups need to help the communities and quit running to legislators to have birth control administered to anyone THEY think needs it—both have had a role in ousting the parent from the decision making process by virtue of demanding laws that circumvent parental permission tor access to birth control and the decision to abort a pregnancy. Most of the victims are young and underage; older victims of this intrusion by Planned Parenthood and pro-lifers are somewhat ignorant as to what their rights are in the matter and these agents use their position to influence these victims. I have no use for either group because neither has the best interests of the woman or young girl in mind—it is the money they obtain for "services" rendered, and usually at inflated prices,that drives the agencies existence. An abortion is an individual's choice and any influence should come from the FAMILY and not these outsider groups.

  I have to take exception to your notion that Pro Life forces are responsible for any abortion, let alone the high rate among any ethnic group. Planned parenthood will help women with health issues other than abortion, but only when demanded. The primary reason for planned parenthood is to avoid parenthood via abortion. Pro Life forces have been sidelined by every liberal social group that operates in the United States. We who beileve in life have been sued and liberal judges have adopted laws that demand that we do not provide literature or information about alternatives to abortion. We have fought for laws against certain abortions, against juvanile abortions and juaanile abortions without the concent of the parent. We have fought for school instruction on abstanince over abortion, all of which have been met with legal forces siding with the liberal agenda that wants the funds that they recieve and money made through abortion. Please do NOT group we Pro Life people with the vile likes of Planned Parrenthood.

But even if I just haven't heard about a dozen more doctors killed, how does one compare fifty million babies to 12 doctors?????

  CJM, do you really believe that that particuler group needs assistance in furthering the stereotypes that may have of their lifestyle and culture. In my city, as in most, black children are born out of wedlock at nearly an 80% rate. While AIDS is declining in every other demographic, they are shyrocketing within the black community. over half of all girls – OVER THE AGE OF 12, are carriers of STDs. Not fudging the numbers, blacks are responsible for upwards of 90% of gun crimes. Of course there are more than enough anecdotes to go around and personal experiences as well, but let's just stick with the facts as they come to us. None of this has anything to do with stereotyping, but everything to do with a culture that is out of control and, due to the enslavement of welfare, don't have the capacity to figure out a way out of it.

There is a Pregnancy Resource Center is just about every town across the US. Not only do they provide counseling, workshops, classes, etc. to educate and inform women, they provide counseling to those who have chosen abortion and are experiencing post-abortion anxiety. I can assure you that every center I have worked at cares deeply about women. Counselors offer ongoing support, resources, referrals, etc. IT IS ALL FREE OF CHARGE! These centers have nothing to gain financially and volunteer because they care. You seem uninformed and angry.
  
  In order for a woman to make the life changing decision as to whether or not to abort her child, she is entitled to receiving good information about ALL options and information on the types of abortion procedures so that she can make an INFORMED decision. Abortion is a surgical procedure and there are risks physically and mentally to a woman.

PP is based in mostly minority neighborhoods which houses mostly blacks so therefore, they are the ones who are being targeted. Margaret Sanger, the founder of PP wanted to do away with minorities and she's certainly getting her wish. End of story.

made that form of murder legal. The Supreme Court under Earl Warren set the stage for legalising

prenatal murder when it declared that God legally has no business in human affairs and that people

Heard a news story yesterday that one major city is now providing free condoms to 11-yr-olds. Legalized murder by children. But to tell them to "wait til marriage" is considered cruel and naive. Secondly, the CDC has made it very clear that condoms are NOT effective for that purpose. Thirdly, students were encouraged to visit a website that celebrates sexual activity. There are many who proclaim that life begins at conception, many who believe that life begins with the advent of the second trimester of a pregnancy, and many who proclaim life begins when the fetus is capable of surviving outside the womb. Abortions have been around for more centuries than one can imagine and it isn't going to end simply because one group says so. The best thing we can do is to have appropriate clinics and medical facilities available to those individuals who do not wish to carry a fetus to term; the very worst thing we can do is to make these facilities unavailable and restore the backyard butchers to prey on these women and girls. Most have never had an opportunity to view the death files and the photos therein that show exactly what these backyard butchers are capable of doing—well, I have and that is the only reason I am for the roe v. wade law. Futhermore, these infants are at the mercy of a parent who does not want the baby and this can have catastrophic results on the life of that infant; like it or not, adults can be very cruel. It matters not how I feel about abortions on a personal level; what does matter is how the affected individual feels. Since the decision is no one else's business, no one has the right to dictate to another what they should.do. I stand by my statements regarding the uselessness of both planned parenthood and pro-life agencies. While pro-lifers claim they are out to save infants and make sure these unborns have rights, they are also going around murdering those who provide abortions and destroying property–which says that it is okay to murder an adult as opposed to a fetus??? As I said, I support neither group and that the decision to abort or not is the decision of the affected individual. And yes, pro-lifers are just as vile as planned parenthood proponents, period.
