The Swaziland Conference of Churches (SCC) is of the view that Christianity in the country is under threat from other religions.

It is, therefore, taking steps to safeguard local churches from the imminent threats posed by these other religions.

This is being done to equip churches with “skills” to be “able to face whatever challenge that may be posed by other faiths”.

Other faiths are perceived to pose challenges either in a social, spiritual or economical scenario.

There is an ongoing debate that has been raging around the introduction of other faiths in the schools’ religious knowledge curriculum.
