The second African Zonal Leadership Conference of The Apostolic Church kicked-off in Lagos, Tuesday, with a charge to African leaders to fashion a way out of the growing terrorist threats in the continent.

The programme with the theme, Contending for the Christian faith once delivered unto the saints, aimed at empowering Christian leaders for the challenges facing the Church in different countries of the continent also provided a platform for the delegates from 21 countries to pray for peace in Africa.

Chief host and Nigerian TAC President, Pastor Gabriel Olutola, urged Nigerians to come back to God, saying that anyone who believed that by killing a fellow human being, he is serving God needed his head examined.

Olutola said: “Let us come back to God. If we come back to God, things will be better for the nation and indeed the continent of Africa. I can loudly say that Nigerian leaders, unable to solve the problem of terrorism in the country thus far, are performing below average and unless we return to God, things might get worse.”
