Obama: ‘We Must Stand Up for the Rights of Gays And Lesbians Everywhere'

In his speech to the U.N. General Assembly Wednesday, President Obama called for “open societies” that “empower their citizens,” including homosexuals and women.

“No country should deny people their rights because of who they love, which is why we must stand up for the rights of gays and lesbians everywhere,” Obama said one day after the United States started allowing homosexuals to serve openly in the U.S. military.

In a reference to women, Obama said, “no country can realize its potential if half its population cannot reach theirs.”

Obama noted that the United State this week signed a new Declaration on Women’s Participation. “Next year, we should each announce the steps we are taking to break down economic and political barriers that stand in the way of women and girls. That is what our commitment to human progress demands.”

Obama's commitment to homosexuality means he is proposing expanded hate crimes legislation designed to intimidate those opposed to deviancy on moral grounds. By giving homosexuals protected victim status, this president hopes to expand the rights of homosexuals while taking away the rights of Christians and people of faith. There will be a destructive ripple effect to the vision Obama has in mind. Let us pray that this worst and most wicked of all US presidents is soundly defeated in the next election.

  The LAW in Illinois says they HAVE to put the aborted fetus(actually misdiagnosed near tern baby) in an assigned container, in an assigned room and the medical personnel CAN NOT intercede on the fetus behalf or revocation of all medical accreditation/ license to practice or be a nurse or any thing. AND they (Illinois) will pursue the barring in all 50 states etc to keep said person from working in healthcare field.

Maybe we should have more ADULT teachers teaching school. Get away from having young kids teaching, trying to
indoctrinate the young children to their life style. A background check should be pulled on all these teachers today.

I want to know – from where does one get a "sexual orientation"? Multiple scientific studies have not ever found an immutable (born with) DNA that causes homosexuality!

As a public school teacher for 43 years- I never had (out of 5,000) a student who claimed to be a homosexual. I saw many "tom boy" girls and "effeminate" boys, but they had to later choose to practice the life styles of gays, and deal with the consequences of their immoral acts and disease spreading, life shortening desires.
There certainly should not ever be special rights granted to those who practice what God says is an abomination and sin! And if a gay has any religious beliefs at all-the 3 major religions decry sodomy!

The "hate crimes" bills are really quite ridiculous. What crime is committed by a person against someone they love? Is not all crime a hate crime of some degree? Is it more wrong for a person to kill a white person, black person, a Spanish person, a Jewish person, a Chinese person, etc because of skin color or religious beliefs or whatever? Is it the color of skin which makes it wrong or the circumstance of the killing? What makes murder a crime? Think about it!
