A north Omaha parish is praying for peace after bullets hit the church, causing damage.
A light of hope still shines bright at Saint Benedict the Moor Catholic Church, even as its sense of security sits shattered.
“The shot was fired, and I saw the glass coming all the way through here,” described Sonja Puszewski, a church volunteer. “I jumped on the floor right here. I kind of went down to sit here.”
