Despite a last-place finish in a key poll two days before the Iowa caucuses, Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann vowed Sunday she is in “for the long race.”

Bachmann, who won the Iowa straw poll in August, came in at 7% in the Des Moines Register poll published Saturday night, behind Texas Gov. Rick Perry.

Speaking to ABC’s “This Week,” she said she has seen crowds at recent stops, and “a lot of that isn’t yet reflected in the polls.” She also argued that the nature of the caucuses makes them unpredictable.

“People gather in living rooms, they gather in elementary schools and churches, and they make their decision on the spot with their neighbors,” she said.
