US Sends Anti-Israel Advisor to Anti-Semitic Sweden

The problem of anti-Semitism in Sweden is so widespread that the Simon Wiesenthal Center has advised Jews to avoid travelling to the country altogether: " There have been dozens of incidents reported to the authorities but have not resulted in arrests or convictions for hate crimes.

U.S. President Barack Obama's controversial anti-Semitism advisor, Hannah Rosenthal, will be visiting Sweden on April 24 to meet with Ilmar Reepalu, the famously anti-Israel mayor of the city of Malmö.

According to the American embassy in Stockholm, Rosenthal has been following the rise of anti-Semitism in Malmö for some time and wants to make sure that there are no politicians in the area that encourage discrimination, racism or hatred for Jews.

Rosenthal's visit to Sweden is likely to amount to little more than an empty photo opportunity. This is because Rosenthal and Reepalu are both self-styled "progressives" who hold the insidious belief that Jews are to blame for anti-Semitism because of their support for Israel.

Like other European countries, Sweden has experienced a significant uptick in anti-Semitic hate-crimes in recent years. Jews in Sweden are frequently subject to harassment and some have been physically assaulted; Jewish cemeteries in the country have repeatedly been desecrated; Jewish worshippers have been abused on their way home from prayer; and Jews have been taunted in the streets by masked men chanting phrases such as "Hitler, Hitler" and "Dirty Jew." Some Jews in Sweden have stopped attending prayer services out of fear for their safety.

People forget that Israel came into being with a coalition of jews and christians pushing for it after WWI. It was a brusing fight.

With a country that is being "Islamisized" there is no doubt that there is anti-semitiism. I was on Youtube a while back and happened on several videos of islamization of Sweden. One in particular was on Stockholm. Very sad. Swedes have not always been anti-Semitic

When I came to a final conclusion that I can't stand Commies anymore, I managed to find a way to escape from the USSR so that even KGB lost me.
The history of a mass movement for Jewish emigration from the USSR began in late 1960s. Almost all Jews who hated the USSR or were persecuted by the USSR had eventually left the country.
So, frankly, I don't understand why Jews in Sweden (and elsewhere, for this matter) don't want to emigrate to the country that is their 'Promised Land' and that offers to Jews so much demanded love and care.
Why keep suffering taunts, verbal and physical attacks and humiliation, if there is a very special Jewish Homeland?
To me, who has personally made this step, there is a huge difference between constant – and empty – whining and a decisive deed.
I honor and laud the latter, but honestly, I disdain the former; I just don't trust lamentations and extortion of love for Jews.

  I do not think true dislike for jews exists, the hate is for the zionists……..who are evil. Do a search and see where it takes you, and prepare to be suprised that all jews are not jews, or were jews like george soros and the very well known name of rothchild…..

  Not only his name is "a jewish sounding" one, as you nicely stated; he WAS an Austrian Jew, a real Holocaust survivor who spent 4.5 years in Nazis camps, including Mauthausen.
  
  As for György (George) Soros (who I really hate a lot), he was not in the Nazi Youth Group, as you stated. He worked for the Jewish Council, delivering to Jews notices of deportation (which is not much better than to be a Hitlerjugend member, though.)

Just when you think Obama has hit an all time low point, he takes another big step downward. It seems like he is deliberately trying to bring the wrath of God down on our nation and sooner or later he will succeed then we will indeed see America crash and burn under the wrath of God. We really may have one more chance to avoid this happening by voting out Obama and his evil gang out of office, I hope and sincerely pray that the American public will finally wake up and become aware of the extreme evil in Washington! I wish Obama was aware of what the Bible says in regard to those who do harm to Israel! Our prayers are constantly with Israel!

Why are we sending "anyone" to Sweden (anti-semite, or otherwise) to have any discussion about Israel! Wonder how obama-soetoro would like it, if we marched around the White House yelling – -"leave impostor, leave impostor" or "lying muslim, lying muslim", get out of the USA!
Oh, and just so some poster here knows "Israel didn't, suddenly appear, after WWII"; she was there 2000 years ago and, there she will stay.

I don't understand why American Jews tend to be liberal voters and financially support such candidates and ignore the Left's hatred for Israel while many conservatives stand with them in support of Israel and similar family values.
