Al-Qaida Releases Video of American Hostage

Al Qaeda has released a new tape of a 70-year-old American hostage in which the U.S. citizen begs President Obama to give in to the demands of the terrorist organization to save his life.

"My life is in your hands, Mr. President," Warren Weinstein says in the video released online overnight. "If you accept the demands, I live. If you don't accept the demands, then I die. It's important that you accept the demands and act quickly and don't delay."

A U.S. government official told ABC News the video is being analyzed. Weinstein was kidnapped last August in Lahore, Pakistan, by a group of armed men who broke into his home.

A former Peace Corps and U.S. aid official, Weinstein had stayed in Pakistan to work for a private company dealing in international aid issues.

Dear God, I feel compassion for this man and his family, but we can not give in to terrorist threats. This is a very sad situation and I only pray that he remains strong and faithful in his belief in God. I pray this in Jesus name. Amen.

Pakistan is not our friend no more than Iran……………..

He knew the risks that he was taking to even be in that part of the world, let alone Pakistan. He wanted to make the "big bucks" and to stay there. Now, he wants the U.S. Government to bail him out, whatever the cost in American dollars and American lives. Yes, I feel sorry for this man and his family, but we all have to live with our choices in life.

The money sent to pakistan should hinge on the conditional release of this american and other americans being held as hostages. Otherwise any american that goes to pakistan could and will be held as hostage.

No country should get our tax money who are not our ally. That means most of the countries around the world should not get our tax money. They should be told that we need to get our house in order first before we can help them. Then get our military home to protect our borders because we will really need to fight against those countries who no longer get money that goes to the leaders and does not help their people.

No one should be taken their hostage. I do not believe in torturing and killing. But sometimes it seems that America should get all the Christians around the world out of the country that is doing wrong to a place of safety, and then get rid of all the enemy. But we know that will never happen. Pray for those who are being held prisoner for their protection and safety and salvation. Someday soon, Christ Himself will free us from all this.

Giving in to threats is not the answer! Once we do that we will forever be expected to do it. That is the most dirty, evil way to play the game of war that you could ever come up with. To these people it this is what it is a game, that nobody wins.
