Jeremiah Wright can sink Obama

He’s back. And this time, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright threatens to engulf President Obama in a major scandal – one that could doom his re-election. Edward Klein in his recent biography of Mr. Obama, “The Amateur,” interviewed Mr. Wright about the president’s past. On tape and on the record, Mr. Wright claims that in 2008, the Obama campaign offered $150,000 to buy his silence. If this is true – and I stress if – Mr. Obama may have committed a crime, and if so, he should be prosecuted and sent to prison. Wrightgate could bring down the Obama presidency.

America was introduced to Mr. Wright in the spring of 2008. The racist, America-hating pastor quickly became an embarrassment to then-candidate Barack Obama. The more cable TV shows endlessly looped Mr. Wright’s extremist, bigoted tirades, the more of a political liability he became to the Obama campaign. Mr. Obama was in full panic; the long association with his radical pastor threatened to derail the Democratic nominee’s chances to defeat Sen. John McCain. Mr. Klein says that according to Mr. Wright, the Obama campaign sent an emissary. The goal: to bribe Mr. Wright in exchange for his agreement to disappear from public view until after the election.

In particular, Mr. Wright alleges that Dr. Eric Whitaker, a close Obama friend, sent an email proposing $150,000 to muzzle the pastor; Mr. Wright says he refused. (The Obama administration recently awarded a $6 million grant to the University of Chicago Medical Center’s Urban Health Initiative. Who runs the initiative? You guessed it: Dr. Whitaker.) Then, Mr. Wright claims, Mr. Obama personally visited him, urging the pastor to remain silent and do nothing that would cripple the Obama candidacy.

If the reverend had any real Christian morals, he would have been honest from the beginning…….why now?? I suspect he's just back for his second 15 minutes of fame and he is just a sideshow taking away from the real issues…….. the primary issue is that obama's social engineering is a failure and he isn't running this country correctly. If he was, we'd be have a more robust economy. Obamacare will destroy our country……..of course, true socialists will like that. With all the proof that these things have and with all the demonstration of a social-type government that has been presented, why has not someone with authority stood up and looked into this? We talk a lot about our Founding Fathers. Would they have let this happen without question? Now, who are our "Fathers" today? I deem that we have none at present but should start an organization entitled, "Our Standing Fathers,"–men who will stand up–men who have the authority and are not afraid to do what is right for America.   The reason no one in Congress stands up to call obama out is because the tables would be turned on them and their skeletons brought out of the closet. The key is getting rid of "establishment" congressmen whether they are Republican or Demonrat. They will not make a law that limits them to two terms, but they don't have to. All we have to do is vote them out once they have served those terms if we decide to let them have the second one in the first place. As long as we allow them to make a career out of politics they will look out for their best interest instead of ours. When they know we will get rid of them, then, maybe, somebody will stand up.

When Rev. Wright talks about what he has in his "box" it is his "life insurance". He was sending a message that he has more things in the box which undoubtedly is a safe deposit box. Someone shares the box and has a key with instructions to open in case of death. Wright is just looking to stay alive.
