I beg to differ as many believe and know what Obama's religious convictions are. He answered that question during his speech in Cairo. Also of the Middle East Muslims and including all Orthodox Jews know. When Obama said his knowledge/experiences in or of Islam guides him in his life's decisions. What was the only relegious instructions Obama recieved? christian sunday School or Teachings of the Koran. Both of fatherly experiences he had during his formidable years were from two Muslim men.

If you ardor teaching that it's okay to break the Law, Jesus will forgive you, get out of the ministry. If you sin knowingly your are breaking your covenant with God and you sin is going to require your grieving over it so much that you turn completely away from it. Remember, God was pleased with Abel's sacrifice because He approached God with a right attitude. God rebuked Cain for His sacrifice because even though he knew God was just, he did not perform his sacrificial duties appropriately believing that God would excuse His wrong behavior and attitude. God placed a mark on His head and sent him away. This alludes to hell, outer darkness and complete separation from God and His family. If He did it to Cain, will He treat you any differently.

You are wrong about Mormons (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints). Mormons believe that God is the father of us all, and that Jesus Christ is his only begotten son. It is absolutely untrue that members of the LDS faith do not believe in Christ. Every prayer concludes with, 'In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen". Members love the Savior and are grateful for His atonement. I do not know how this lie got started, but I have been LDS for 30 years, and I can assure you all that Mormons DO believe in God, the Father and in his son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.

      Both of us read and believe, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and to-day, yea and for ever." Whereas I, believe Jesus is talking about His consistancy in all His actions, you apparently believe He has never changed in form or He doesn't progress. You apparently believe He has always been God. If you take this statement literally, you have trouble reconciling it with the fact that He took Human form. That is a huge change. How then can He be the same yesterday and today and forever by your interpretation?
      
      Mormons believe He has revealed to us (all of His children) that He and His Father did achieve Godhood instead of just flairing into existance as God(s). That certainly doesn't answer all questions and even raises more. A lot of people (even Mormons) speculate and wonder, but we will have to wait for more light and knowledge from Him before we can have any understanding of His origin.

      You want me to explain everything to you, but you don't explain any of your interpretations of scripture. For instance, what beginning is Moses talking about? Is "Elohim" plural or singular? Why is there mention of "Father", "Son" and "Holy Ghost", if there aren't three. If there are three presentations, personalities or whatever in one being, why not just say that? It is heavily demonstrated in the New Testament that there are three personages not "three in one" as conceptionalized by the Nicea Council.

What is the definition of a Christian? Just what Jesus Christ who is the Word of God said it is. As it said in the book of Acts that the "disciples" were called "Christians" in Antioch. If 34% of Americans say Obama is a Christian, 34% are wrong. Obama is not a Christian. The fruits of his labor reveal he is anything but a believer in Christ and the word of God. How foolish. Of the 34%, I can only imagine how many of them also claim to be Christian and are not. This is the problem with so many churches and far too many church leaders. They may sing and shout, but that no not sufficient.
The word of God condemns homosexuality. Obama is clearly opposed to the word of God in that. God condemns the shedding of innocent blood, ie. abortion, the slaughter of the innocents. Obama clearly opposed the word of God of this.

I believe religion is something personal to the believer. What matters when holding high public office, is to govern in a manner that pleases the majority of citizens. George W. Bush is supposed to be an evangelical Christian, who messed up everything to the point that at the end of his term people detested his actions, leaving the next incumbent to do an impossible task. What is important is not whether a president is an atheist, a Christian, a Mormon or what have you, but to deliver good governance to the people and be true to oneself. A belief or a religion by name only is no belief or religion.

Common sense demands that we investigate his claims of Christianity and look upon his deeds compared to his claims. Simple common sense clearly indicates he is a non-Christian. He stated that his faith comes from the "Black Church". What does that mean? That blackness comes before Christ? That they are special because they are black? This article/poll says that only 34% of people know the correct answer that Obama is Christian. Who are these pollsters to say they know the correct answer to Obama's religion. So Obama is a Christian? Ha. I would like to know how he defines that term. I am watching what he does; not what he says. His fruit is not Christian: open sodomy in the military, support for same-sex marriage, saying that he will not enforce DOMA and hopes it is repealed, being as pro abortion as they come (all nine months and right after birth), trashing the U.S. Constitution, and disrespecting various Christian national leaders.
