I'm not quite sure what you are saying. Jesus, was sinless, and yes even to the point of forgiving those that surrounded and mocked Him at the cross. Those that almost all men, would say have no value. To that point Jesus was on the cross for Hitler as much as Mother Teresa, for example. The answer to that forgiveness, though, comes from our actions. Repentance (turning completely away from) and restitution, which God clearly calls for in our flesh, with still forgiveness in the spirit, if we do repent and seek restitution.
This is not an easy subject to get. Many Christians will then bring up the fact Jesus took on the Laws that God gave us to abide by. The answer to that is yes He did, but Jesus's actions led to the Holy Spirit to be sent. In doing that, Gods children are now quided by the fruits of the spirit. Read Galatians 5, where Paul addresses that difficult subject, because many calling themselves followers, were not following. They were justifying immorality in their lives, while calling out others for the sins they thought were important. The Spirit brings love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
Now, if you look at any of the Ten Commandments and laws God gave, if you were following God, you wouldn't even have to be told these laws. Do you have to tell a follower of God to not commit murder or adultery, if you have love, joy, self-control and peace? Do you have to tell a follower not to lie, commit/bare false witness, if you have goodness, faithfulness, love and peace? Under grace, what we did do, not having the Holy Spirit to guide us, we are forgiven for, but with that grace, followers of Christ want to be more like Christ. Want to show in their lives that there is more value than what this world holds as value. In that passage in Galatian, also are these words of warning, " The one who is throwing you into confusion, whoever that may be, will have to pay the penalty." Many Christians live in hypocrisy and many don't realize God calls for restitution in those that do harm…even in their words. Using the Bible in tactics of justifying immorality and lies, is very dangerous, not to say anyone here in doing that, but just as the book of Judges teaches us that followers of God got so misled, over time, values, morality, immorality and self-entitlment, that they were claiming God, worshiping gods and were so evil, they didn't even see it.
In fact, that is a good book to read today, because it shows the falling away from God, not even knowing it, that happened. God Bless.

We Christians often pay lip service to the admonition to forgive others regardless of the offense or how often occurs, but when someone murders people we love, especially when the perp is a family member, would we actually be able to forgive under these circumstances in the article? Terry Caffey is an example to the world of a distinguishing feature of Christianity that no other religion or philosophy possesses. Contrast that to Islam, where it is acceptable to kill family members for a perceived wrong, and the idea of unconditional forgiveness is foreign.

evermyrtle: Have you tried the web site http://www.biblegateway.com ? You can access any version of the Bible (I always use KJV) and then you can simply copy and paste any verses you wish to quote. A great time saver and eliminates those pesky typos. You can also search words or passages, and they also have other resources such as a topical index and audio Bibles. I use it all the time. It is very easy to use once you familiarize yourself with it. Also, if you use Google Chrome as your web browser it has a built-in spell checker.

We are only responsible for our own actions. If we forgive we have done our part, it up to the offender to do their part. We must go to whatever limits it takes to protect ourselves and our families and GOD will take care of the rest, if we will allow HIM to do so and trust HIM to do it, after we take sensible precautions.

Matt.18:21-22

21. Then came Peter to HIM, and said, LORD, how often shall y brother sin against me, and I forgive him, seven times?
22. JESUS said unto him, I say not unto you, until seven times: but seventy times seven.

I am a poor typist. so this was a typing error. I am glad I am the only who can't type very well but I do my best, as I have seeing problems, also. I am glad when my mistakes are caught but had much rather catch them myself, so that I can correct them, but at 82 I would be ashamed to complain about such small things that I cannot do wellt.

Did the daughter repent and ask for forgiveness? Yes, we should be willing to offer forgiveness to all who wrong us, but if the person who is offered forgiveness does not repent and refuses the forgiveness he remains unforgiven. If someone refuses the forgiveness that you offer the problem is his and you are blameless. It is the same for all those who reject the forgiveness Jesus has won for them and offered to them. They are lost.

The Lord forgives all… But your posting of Matt 6:15 "either sill" should say this "neither will"…

But he says Matt 6:15, "But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." (KJV)

But the Lord promises…

Matt. 26:28, "For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins." (KJV)

Acts 10:43, "To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins." (KJV)

As for hate, the new translations remove the verse "without a cause" to make it sound like jesus was a hater and therefore a sinner as well. The KJV States

Matt. 5:22, "But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother WITHOUT A CAUSE shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire." (KJV)

John 15:25, "But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me WITHOUT A CAUSE." (KJV)

That is because we are in the days described by JESUS as the last days or the end days. HE tells us all of these horrors will come to pass in these end days, just before HE returns to receive us unto HIM. This information can be found in many places in the Old Testament and in the New Testament.

JESUS said of those responsible for murdering HIM, "Forgive them for they know not what they do!:

I have complete faith that HE has forgiven me and will forgive me of every sin that I commit, if I repent and strive to do better in the future.. It was the affairs of the father to forgive the daughter, not ours.

Matt. 6:14 For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly FATHER will also forgive you

Matt 6.15 But if you forgive not men their trespasses, either sill your FATHER in heaven forgive yous trespasses.

HE says that to hate another person is the same as murder. How many of us can say that we never hated someone along our path in life?
