If God is dead, America is in trouble

The younger generation is becoming godless. Increasing numbers of Americans under the age of 30 are skeptical about the existence of God. This will have profound repercussions upon our society, fostering moral disintegration and the eventual death of our Judeo-Christian civilization. Traditional America is dying. In its place, a new liberal barbarism is being born.

A recent survey by the Pew Research Center finds that belief in God has dropped dramatically among so-called millennials — those born after 1980 — during the past five years. In particular, the Pew poll found that 31 percent of respondents say they doubt whether God exists. On college campuses, secularism and science are the new orthodoxies. According to Pew, this is in stark contrast with other older generations, which continue to believe in God in high numbers — ranging from 81 to 89 percent.

Influenced by prominent atheist and agnostic intellectuals, such as Christopher Hitchens, Sam Harris and Richard Dawkins, young people are slowly abandoning traditional values. They are following the road paved by anti-Christian Europeans, sacrificing God at the altar of neopaganism and shallow humanism.

People in the science field are saying that God is there as well as scripture being true well just do a bit of self research and you will see that he is there. Parents have been putting physical things above spiritual truths while raising their children. Our desires for better homes, nicer furniture, more expensive cares above the welfare of teaching our children. We are careful to see they are educated in the ABC's but neglect teaching them about GOD and the truth to be found in HIM.

We as parents have wanted to give our children what we didn't have and by doing so, spoiled them, forgot to teach them how to earn a dolar, let them have their way when they cried and didn't teach them the word of God. Most people know God is alive; they just don't want to accept it since they think He would be a hinderance to what they want to do with their own life. The sad part is that those who have not been taught about God in the home will not know that His way is the only way of peace and happiness in their lifetime. They will continue to seek contentment but will never find it without knowing the God of the Bible. It all starts in the home and parents today can't teach what they do not know.
Lamentations 3:21-25 -This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope. The LORD'S loving kindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassion’s never fail. They are renewed every morning; great is Thy faithfulness. "The LORD is my portion," says my soul, "Therefore I have confidence in Him." We grieve Him when we do wrong, because He wants the best for us, but our actions can rob us of our greatest opportunities both here on earth and in our next life. Opportunities that He wants for us. But in the end, if we don't earn the hightest reward, it will be our fault, not His. He saved us from the grave, all of us. But not all of us will be happy with our situation in the hereafter.
