Keeping them is how you show your love for God. Love your neighbor is a summation of the last six. Following these commandments is how you show your love for your neighbor. Jesus did not reduce God's law from 10 to 2, he was just giving the succinct version.

Cathy is American. He may hold whatever views & say pretty much anything he wants. If he wants his business to only be open on even days of the month, that's HIS business, not ours. If he wishes to say that he's patriarchal & wants a half-dozen wives, that's his freedom.
That he chooses to base his business decisions & PERSONAL STANDARDS on Biblical Doctrine, on Christian Truth is wonderfully refreshing, as many give lip service & excuses why NOT to hold up the Christian Banner under pressure. He stands firm.
