Pastors Empowered to Speak Boldly About Abortion

Silence is not an option. That’s the message Liberty Counsel is sending to pastors and churches this election season.

Liberty Counsel is distributing more than 100,000 copies of “Silence is Not an Option,” a DVD and printed material outlining what is permissible in the realm of political and advocacy activity.

“The church must be empowered to confront the assaults on our culture, our faith, and our freedom,” says Mat Staver, founder and chairman of Liberty Counsel. “I don’t want any pastor, church leader or lay person to say, ‘What more could I have done to protect life and liberty?’”

Staver argues that silencing people of faith in the public square has always been the goal of those who realize the influence that pastors, churches, and people of faith have on elections. He wants pastors to remove the muzzle and replace it with a megaphone.

Pastors should be able to teach the whole Word of God regardless of the subject in our Nation since so far we have freedom OF religion. This includes what the Bible says about homosexuality, divorce, murder as well as mental murder, and all the other sins mentioned without the government dictating their ideas or beliefs. After all, we still have separation of Chruch and State. The problem we have is when the whole Bible is taught the people learn what the government is trying to do to us in our day and they don't like that. Conservative values are taught in God's Word and the left doesn't want to hear it.

The government does not have a right to tell ministers what they can speak on or what they cannot speak on. That is not their business, however hare they are trying to enforce such atrocity. GOD have us a complete Bible, not bits and pieces to suit them, which only includes subjects that is not against their personal style of evil,

We shall see how any such pastors remain true when the IRS comes calling to revoke their tax exempt status simply because the IRS brands them a political entity.

I believe very soon preaching against the sins of preborn baby infanticide, homosexuality, etc. will be deemed political topics by big gov't. Shut a preacher's mouth by threatening to take away his church's tax exempt status.

That is how big gov't will make pastors toe the line.

  Even if a church were to lose its tax-exempt status I don't believe they can justify remaining silent in the face of evil. If they are doing the will of God He will provide for them. And if a pastor or any believer is sent to jail for speaking the truth of God's Word so be it. There are many souls in prison who need to hear the Gospel.
  Personally I would rather belong to a church that loses everything and has to worship on the street than to remain silent about the moral issues that have led to the imminent collapse of our country.

Pastors need to quit objecting to fair criticism. For example, the bible says nothing against abortion, in fact, about half of pregnancies are aborted spontaneously, often before the woman even knows she was pregnant.
Pastors need to stop the myths about abortions. (Late ones are done only to save the lives or health of the mothers. Women are more at risk from normal full-term pregnancies than of abortions in sterile, safe environments. http://www.thisismyabortion.com

Abortion is not murder. A fetus is not considered a human life:

If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from
her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the
woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. And
if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life. — Exodus 21:22-23

The Bible places no value on fetuses or infants less than one month old:

And if it be from a month old even unto five years old, then thy estimation
shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation
shall be three shekels of silver. — Leviticus
27:6

Fetuses and infants less than one month old are not considered persons:

Number the children of Levi after the house of their fathers, by their
families: every male from a month old and upward shalt thou number them. And
Moses numbered them according to the word of the LORD. — Numbers 3:15-16

God sometimes approves of killing fetuses:

And Moses said unto them, Have ye saved all the women alive? … Now
therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath
known man by lying with him. — Numbers 31:15-17

(Some of the non-virgin women must have been pregnant. They would have been
killed along with their unborn fetuses.)

Give them, O LORD: what wilt thou give? give them a miscarrying womb and dry

God sometimes kills newborn babies to punish their parents:

God sometimes causes abortions by cursing unfaithful wives:

God's law sometimes requires the execution (by burning to death) of pregnant
women:

  Yeah you idiot tell me that killing an unborn baby is ok, Gods will, all that AND your taking many verses out of context and trying to make it RIGHT for a woman to run out, have sex indiscriminately and kill the baby.
