I never implied you are "part of that club" that has sex with animals nor have I ever been a "part of the club" which condones sex with young girls. Those are sick idiots who run for cover under the guise of being Mormon, for heaven's sake. I have to watch this site like a hawk, to counter the ridiculous and obnoxious things people will say.The church for which I am a member is NOT the anti-Mormon church of the idiot pseudo-Christians. Now I know why many good people in our church did not want Mitt to run. I did not believe them until now.

But yet you still claim to be an atheist, which makes the claim that there is no God anywhere. This is a universal negative which is logically impossible to prove. In your posts you claim to follow that which is most logical, but a universe that either created itself or is eternal (both of which violate known laws of science) is irrational. To believe that there is no God would require either of those two possibilities.

If you are honestly seeking truth, as Vladimir has mentioned, then I believe you need to conduct a thorough examination of exactly what you believe and why you believe it, and then ask yourself in all honesty whether it makes sense from both a scientific and logical standpoint. The simple laws of logic argue against any kind of atheist position, so at the very least, you should admit that you are unsure as to whether there is a God or not and call yourself an agnostic. It would be a step in the right direction.

We would not let a male schoolteacher camp out with 10 year old girls, but parents have been allowing their children, boys and girls, to sleep overnight at churches with male priests and ministers believing them to be safe, only to find out they were being molested.

For some reason, people assume that if someone is in the clergy, their children are safe with them. They have been wrong far too often.

I don't expect any parent would allow a straight man schoolteacher to camp out with 10 year old girls, by the same token, would you, Mr. Dixon? Why let a fox guard the hen house or let a frog carry a scorpion across the creek? : | We don't even talk about these things, we just didn't do it.

You know how little children are impressionable by their peers and their authorities. We had just better be vigilant to warn our children of dangers from any and all directions. When kids hear about some new and interesting experiments, they will try them if they can get the right tools... it better be that we prepare them for honestly good experiments which is the purpose of scouts.
