Much ado over 'Galileegate'?

The public was shocked, shocked to learn that a group of Congressmen and their spouses and aides, on a junket, went swimming in Israel’s Sea of Galilee after dinner at a fancy restaurant on a hot summer day. More shocking still, alcohol was imbibed. What’s more, some of them had their clothes on when they took the plunge. Finally – are you sitting down? – one of them went skinny-dipping. Yes, Rep. Kevin Yoder (R-Kan.) took his clothes off.

This appalling international incident took place a year ago. Thanks to the courageous reporting of Politico, it now sees the light of day. The ever-vigilant press, knowing that where there’s water there’s a gate, defended the public’s right to know.

But, there’s more.

It turns out that the FBI looked into the matter to see “if any inappropriate behavior occurred.” No charges were filed.

The judgment of Congressman Yoder is legitimately called into question by his actions at the Sea of Galilee. I seriously doubt that Yoder's decision to jettison his clothes and skinny-dip in this public setting was one made in a state of full sobriety. It is just the kind of action that one might expect from someone who is about two and a half sheets to the wind.

The Sea of Galilee is no more holy than the "Holy Land". Yes, that area is where Jesus lived and taught and our focus is on Him; not the the land or sea.

  The Jews without the LAND were the "problem" for the nations where ever they were went. Why? Because they are God's chosen family even when they don't trust their own Messiah!   Now that the Lord God has moved heaven and earth and given them the Land again as a domicile, we think it was just a mistake made by the UN in 1948. (you must read your Bible with a Spiritual Guide!)
  
  A hallmark of a true believer is that he/she loves the Jewish family even though they are enemies of the gospel. (You haven't studied Romans {*9-11} closely have you?)

    Since I am a believer in Dispensations I know exactly what the Bible teaches about the return of God's people, the Jews, back to Jerusalem. It will NOT be man's efforts but the Lord Jesus Christ who will gather the believing Jews back to Israel where He will reign on the Throne of David for 1000 years and all the covenants given to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and David will be given to them including all the land God promised them. They are still God's chosen people even though they rejected their Messiah. The LAND is NOT holy; only a person can be holy and it is the Lord Jesus Christ.
    
    At the Rapture we meet the Lord in the air and at His 2nd Advent He will touch down to the Mt. of Olives.
    
    I Corinthians 15:51-53 Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality.
    
    Then the Tribulation of 7 years when the Anti-Christ and Satan rule and control all the Nations.
    
    Anti-Christ:
    Daniel 11:36-39 Then the king will do as he pleases, and he will exalt and magnify himself above every god and will speak monstrous things against the God of gods; and he will prosper until the indignation is finished, for that which is decreed will be done.
    
    "He will show no regard for the gods of his father’s or for the sexual desire for
    women (homosexuality), nor will he show regard for any other god; for he will
    magnify himself above them all.
    
    "But instead he will honor a god of fortresses, a god whom his fathers did not know;
    he will honor him with gold, silver, costly stones and treasures.
    
    "He will take action against the strongest of fortresses with the help of a foreign

    The 2nd Coming or Advent is when Jesus’ feet will touch down to the Mt. of Olives
    and sets up His Kingdom after defeating Satan at the end of the Tribulation.
    
    Zechariah 14:3-4 Then the LORD will go forth and fight against those nations, as when He fights on a day of battle. In that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives will be split in its middle from east to west by a very large valley, so that half of the mountain will move toward the north and the other half toward the south. Jesus Christ will then
    reign on the earth for 1000 years on the Throne of David and restoring Israel
    to their promised land. This info barely scratches the surface of so much more
    information in the Word of God.

In a horribly immoral world a tiny act of immorality does not warrant anything than a small warning: "Bief Nudity." Standards are adjusted to the growing tolerance of indecensy. This story has no teeth as the hypocrisy of the reporter (the main stream media) justies the act, while the reader don't mind a little bit of alcohol and a little bit glutt.
