If you read through Duet. 28 with reflection on the promised national blessings and curses contained therein, you can see how America went from the 1600's reaping blessing and prosperity for obedience to God's laws, statutes and judgments, to reaping our current curses of debt, constant foreign war entanglements, poor quality foods requiring 'national health care', alien foreigners dictating the terms of their visit here, etc., etc. This happened because of our setting aside the morality of our God as contained in His Scripture, and substituting it with popular "democratic" opinion, political platforms, atheistic academic philosophies, man-made doctrinal precepts such as the document produced at the Constitutional Convention of 1787, that contradict what is revealed from above. America cannot continue trusting in the Baal priests (be they named Bush, Obama, Clinton, Reagan or Romney) to guide us away from the precipice with political speeches, satire and human government worshiping political conventions. It is high time Christians in America decide whom they are going to serve: the Baals of the political parties and their stage puppets, or the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob through His Son.

"See, I have taught you statutes and judgments just as YHWH my God commanded me, that you should do thus in the land where you are entering to possess it. So keep and do them, for that is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples who will hear all these statutes and say, 'Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.' "For what great nation is there that has a god so near to it as is YHWH our God whenever we call on Him? "Or what great nation is there that has statutes and judgments as righteous as this whole law which I am setting before you today?" (Deuteronomy 4:5-8)
