We, as Christians, need to learn that we cannot look to politicians to fix our country. They can't and won't do it. For the most part, they are all playing for the same team. The two major parties, generally, try to say different things and try to look a bit different, but they are actually playing intra-mural politics – skins and shirts.
They all love big government; they all love diversity; they all are willing to abandon principles to avoid "grid-lock"; etc.
We must remember that God is sovereign – He is in control. He is bringing this world to the brink of the Great Tribulation. Things will NOT get better; they will continue to get worse. The Rapture is near; and then those left in the world will experience the Great Tribulation in which 2/3 of the world's population will die in the next 7 years.

That is why mormonism is anti-God because they believe in man rather than the God of the Bible.

BTW, Joseph Smith is dead and cannot help you; Jesus Christ is alive and seated at the right hand of the Father in heaven in His humanity forever but still God as is God the Father and God the Holy Spirit — the three in one.

God the Holy Spirit: Rom 8:11, I Cor 3:16, I Cor 6:19-20, II Cor 6:16
The Trinity is infinite and eternal and yet indwells our body and is omnipresent.
Never before the Church Age has every believer been indwelt by the Trinity.

Right now the USA has three blown tires, the engine is burning oil and sputtering, the frame is bent, and the body is just about rusted through. It's next destination will be the junkyard if Obama is re-elected. Better to take it it Mitt's Motorcar Mega-repair Mart and at least get started on the restoration project for this old classic.
