Message From Abortion Survivor Goes Viral

A YouTube video featuring a young woman who survived a saline abortion and was born alive has gone viral, and it warns about Barack Obama's record of voting to allow similar abortion survivors to perish. On the video, produced by the pro-life Susan B. Anthony List, 35-year-old Melissa Ohden tells viewers that “many children — more than you might think — actually survive failed abortions and are born alive. I know, because I'm one of them. I was aborted and my body discarded like I didn't exist.” Thankfully, Ohden continues, “a nurse heard me crying and cared enough to save my life.”

But other babies who survive the attempts to kill them have not been as fortunate, Ohden notes, and explains our current president's complicity in this murder after the fact. “When he was in the Illinois State Senate,” Ohden recalls, “Barack Obama voted to deny basic constitutional protections for babies born alive from an abortion — not once, but four times.”

Continues Ohden, who is now a wife and mother: “I know that it's by the grace of God that I'm alive today, if only to ask America this question: Is this the kind of leadership that will move us forward, that would discard the weakest among us? How will you answer?”

God bless you, Melissa. Keep telling your story – hopefully many innocent lives will be saved.

Anti-abortion activists accuse Obama of "supporting infanticide," and the National Right to Life Committee says he’s conducted a "four-year effort to cover up his full role in killing legislation to protect born-alive survivors of abortions." Obama says they’re "lying."

At issue is Obama’s opposition to Illinois legislation in 2001, 2002 and 2003 that would have defined any aborted fetus that showed signs of life as a "born alive infant" entitled to legal protection, even if doctors believe it could not survive.

Obama opposed the 2001 and 2002 "born alive" bills as backdoor attacks on a woman’s legal right to abortion, but he says he would have been "fully in support" of a similar federal bill that President Bush had signed in 2002, because it contained protections for Roe v. Wade.

I think it is high time to stop making excuses for Obama. His actions, both past and present, are inexcusable. He also cannot be trusted. The man is a psychopathic liar.

Someone has to counter the mistruths in this article.

"“When he was in the Illinois State Senate,” Ohden recalls, “Barack Obama
voted to deny basic constitutional protections for babies born alive
from an abortion — not once, but four times.”"

What Obama "would" have done is not the same as what he actually did. You have to deal with the fact that he actually voted it down, not make excuses and say he "would" have voted for it if it had been different. The writer was not dealing with coulda woulda shouldas.

So what is your point? That Obama is for saving the children, or that Bush is a Baby Killer? Is it perhaps that Obama is really an honest man who "Says" that he would have supported a Federal Bill that… Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah……. I see no reason to try to protect Obama and his decision to support killing babies that survived an attempted murder in the womb. Obama votes to finish the job outside the womb and you want to protect his image…. How twisted can a person get to want to protect a person with such a world view for murdering babies?

    • Linda F.

You and Obama can come up with every excuse in the book for why he opposed the 2001 and 2002 born alive bills. There is NO justification for sitting on your rear end and doing NOTHING while innocent babies are being slaughtered, whether they're inside the womb or outside the womb. Only a cold-hearted (or maybe even heartless) monster would refuse to support a bill that protects the lives of children. And Obama is that monster.

      • daves

It can also be fixed without involving the government.

It is appalling that we have killed as many or more humans then Hitler did in Germany, but it is not just Obama but Romney as well. How can any Christian vote for either man knowing they will kill innocent babies. I think it is time for Christians to come out of both parties and support a godly man like Goode for president.

Okay warrior against women because an admitted racist
Justice helped to make it legal and in your anti-life view immoral to correct
its legal standing. Let’s weigh Obama’s words.

Obama has also said that he sees denying any one of his daughters
to abort their pregnancy as “punishment” simply because they (one of his
    daughters) made a mistake.

Fact is when a pregnancy is not life threatening to the
mother abortion does not save anyone’s life, improve anyone’s health or help
    anyone’s mental health.

Fact is abortion has serious negative health consequences
that can remain permanent and no scientific proof that a mother’s mental health
is improved including victims of rape and incest.

Abortion will never make a woman more like a man and is an irresponsible
    act to an earlier choice.

Irresponsible males are not men they are pigs, thus irresponsible
females are more like male pigs. How progressively inspiring to the few allowed
    to live for tomorrow.

I have ofter wondered what if we cold see all these murdered babies in a huge football field, at the age they would be if they had not been murdered, those, murdered by it's parent or parents. Even using the stands, too there would not be room for them all. What a time for America to weep1!!!!!!!!!!

The responsible free "Choice" & the time to exercise a women's "Right" over her body (As if "we" really have title to this body which we inhabit) is when the legs fly open (or not).

Any/All Decisions thereafter is nothing different than loading up the box-cars & sending the innocents who have merely gotten in the way of our "Plans" to the ovens of Auschwitz.
Pro-Choice is at the hands of Innocent blood shed as a sacrifice for the decision that one makes for being rebellious to G*Ds Law……including any resulting "rape" issues since it is a well known adage that "Nothing good happens after sun-down" & whilst the rapist should not be committing the crime, women & ladies have no G*D-ordained reason for being out from under the protection of their family out in the "mean-streets" of mayhem & malice without their "head" covered: meaning either with their Father or their Husband….or at the very least not "alone".
I know, that last bit seems "radical"….fringe, & extreme…. however the Laws & Mandates of Holy Writ were written to protect & preserve "us", they certainly, except to modern Churchiantiy, are not "Against" us.
But those "laws" are for legalists & Judiasers…..right??. Modern Churchianity certainly knows best…

"How Do You Kill 11 Million People?: Why the Truth Matters More Than You Think" By Andy Andrews

    An Excerpt from the book:
"In at least one German town the railroad tracks ran behind the church. An eyewitness stated:"

"We heard stories of what was happening to the Jews, but we tried to distance ourselves from it, because we felt, what could anyone do to stop it?""Each Sunday morning, we would hear the train whistle blowing in the distance, then the wheels coming over the tracks. We became disturbed when we heard cries coming from the train as it passed by. We realized that is was carrying Jews like cattle in the cars!""Week after week the whistle would blow. We dreaded to hear the sounds of those wheels because we knew that we would hear the cries of the Jews en route to a death camp. Their screams tormented us.""We knew the time the train was coming and when we heard the whistle blow we began singing hymns. By the time the train came past our church, we were singing at the top of our voices. If we heard the screams, we sang more loudly and soon we heard them no more."
"Years have passed and no one talks about it now, but I still hear that train whistle in my sleep.”

I wonder, just how many of "Us" are NOT going to take our responsibility to VOTE a bit more serious or even show up this Coming election to cast our Vote.

To remain Silent is still a choice that sides with the enemy of souls.

Here's a great Quote from a great President:
"To Sin by SILENCE, when one should protest makes cowards of Men" A. Lincoln.

I commend to you respectfully: Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."

Boy-WOWZA~!! Seems like "Cowardly" is the very first underpinned character trait mentioned.

This story indicates a crisis in the education of the young and getting worse not better when we have the person who becomes the president with such a background as B. H. Obama has on this issue. It is simply horrific. The only solace there is in my humble opinion, is that these innocent babes will find immediate peace in heaven, due to the fact they are completely innocent as newborns, without evil hearts. What's left are the people who would perform them, advise to perform them or have these performed on their bodies, the living. We still don't know what kind of ramifications all these murders – yes, murders – will have upon the psyche of our nation.

I am pro-life, always and absolutely; and likely more than anyone, I have my parents to thank for their sharing their concerns with me on this topic. Never have I or any member in my family that I know, been in the desperate situation where because of a bad choice we needed to get an abortion.

    Too bad obama wasn't aborted!

Now now, I wouldn't dare say such a thing about Saddam Hussein, let alone Obama who has done far less evil.
