Obama's faith draws criticism, praise

People have all sorts of questions for presidential candidates in an election year. But there was one question I asked last weekend that scores of readers griped about:

Why do so many people doubt President Barack Obama’s faith?

Obama has talked publicly about his faith for years, but doubts persist. Why? Was it race? Was he a different kind of Christian than his predecessors? How can anyone judge whether another person is a Christian?

Praise and criticism came from all political sides – liberals and conservatives both liked the piece and loathed it. Some saw it as a ringing defense of the progressive Christian traditions that shaped Obama’s faith. Others thought I was trying to sabotage the president's re-election chances with an unfair question.

Why do so many people doubt President Barack Obama’s faith?Because he supports the murder of the unborn, he supports same sex marriage and other out and out sinful acts. Plus the Dem party's platform can be seen in Romans chapt 1. The whole party is godless. We have a poor choice in this election, a cult member who believes Jesus Christ is half brother to Satan and a possible muslim if not muslim surely in sympathy with muslims who cannot seem to tell the truth even when he knows it. God have mercy on us.

I have no doubts about Obama's faith, his faith in some alien God but not in my GOD. He has spent four years taking America apart,. in a way it will be very difficult to put her back together again. His faith in my GOD is nil!! He has proved that over and over. All of the anti-GOD laws he has made legal with his signature and the fact of the evils he is supporting proves that. The article asks the question, "Was he a different kind of Christian than his predecessors?"

There is and has been only ONE kind of Christian – a person who has repented of their sins, trusted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour and that trust is in Him ALONE!!

The Bible also tells us that by their fruit we shall know them.

Therefore, I can say with total confidence, obama is NOT a Christian.

What kind of faith does Obama have? As he does not believe in the rights of the unborn over the convenience of the mother, supports late term abortion, and the destruction of newly born children who are the product of a botched abortion, positions he voted on as a Senator in Illinois; as he is public in his support of the rescinding of the Defense of Marriage Act and feels men should be allowed to marry other men, and vice versa for women, positions contrary to the word of God. So then, Obama shows by his acts and works that his faith is shallow and without love for decency and righteousness What kind of faith is that? Is it a biblical faith, a faith found in the doctrines and beliefs of Christianity? Is it a faith that combines philosophy, political expediency, and some basic tenets of Christianity? Is his faith more sympathetic to Islam, or even more partial to it? Ask the questions and answer them based on the observable conduct of Obama. Liberal and postmodernist Christians, lost in their own cultural and social gospel, unable to any longer detect the difference between right and wrong, unable to judge character for fear of being legalistic, will see him as a man of faith. After all, according to some progressive professing Christians, who are we to say what is right and wrong? As for me, I will say categorically that Obama is not a man of faith because God would never hold the positions Obama endorses.

Obama believes in Salvation for the masses through a collectivist plan (socialism). His religion is that people can live a perfect life if the circumstances (a coollectivist society) are right. He denys that man is a sinner and only can be saved individually through the atonement of Jesus our Savior. That is the reason Socialism never works because mankind cannot live up to what is expected by a Socialist society. Man by nature is a "goldbricker", Selfish (putting himself first at the expense of others), and desirous of power. Those who can get the power over their fellow men (Stalin, Hitler +++) exploit them for their own purposes. Obama fits all three criteria. That's where his faith lies.

NO true Christian would do or say the things he has! he has been pretending to be a Christian, because he knew he would not be elected as a Muslim–but if you watch his behaviors, the Islamic shows through. he lets our enemies get away with all kinds of crap—heaven help us if he does get reelected–our country will be toast and we will no longer be a free country!!

That Obama is a Muslim is obvious. That he lies when he claims to be a Christian is equally obvious. It is known that Islam calls for its adherents to lie whenever necessary for the sake of Islam. That's only one way in which Islam differs from Christianity. Does his religion explain his crucial mistake in allowing us to learn that he personally is responsible for the death of 4 citizens in Benghazi? If that doesn't get him impeached, then our system of government is surely failing. He wasn't qualified by birth to serve as our President. He has repeatedly made clear his refusal to endorse or defend laws of the land. Why has he not been impeached long ago?
