Palestinians attack Israeli bus, kindergarten; riots in Jerusalem

A series of Palestinian attacks against Israelis occurred in and around Jerusalem over the weekend, a clear reminder that the tension-wracked capital remains ready to explode despite relative calm in recent months.

On Sunday evening, a bus traveling from Jerusalem to a Jewish community just north of the city was damaged in a Palestinian stone-throwing attacks. Because the stones managed to penetrate the bulletproof glass, it was at first reported as a shooting attacks.

Also on the outskirts of Jerusalem, Israeli security forces in at least three separate incidents caught would-be Arab assailants in possession of pipe bombs.

Earlier on Sunday, an Arab man assaulted a Jew in the capital's Givat Shaul neighborhood, according to Israel National News. The attack resulted in a riot that saw dozens of Jews and Arabs face off in violent confrontation.

    So what?

  • John Adams

Israel must declare war against the "palestinians". They need to take care of this matter once and for all.

with friends like you Israel really needs no enemies. Jewish Zionists started this conflict when they attack peaceful Palestinian town of Deir Yessin on April 9, 1948 massacring men, women, and children. taken several to abuse and use to send a message to other villages saying the same will happen to them if they stay. they also left many children orphans. if the Israeli government would denounce Zionism and public trials of the Zionists will show that they are serious about living in peace with their neighbors. i denounce Zionism both Christian and Jewish for it is nothing but idolatry, worship of the ancient Holy Land and not triune God of the Bible.

Israel MUST do away with those who have invaded the land God gave to Israel. Your account is CLEARLY tainted by "palistinan" thought. We MUST understand that the land (which includes ALL of current day Israel, Jordan, Syria, Iran, Iraq, and some of Turkey) was promised by God to Israel. There is coming a day when ALL of that land will belong to Israel.

so you believe in uprooting families that from the land where they lived for centuries just to usher in the Apocalypse. first all that land you are talking about was never promised to Israel. the boundaries, which was the kingdom of King Solomon, went from the River Euphrates in the north to Egypt in the south. modern day Iran is outside those boundaries and most of Iraq. second God said that King David would rule and his children will rule that area not own it. third the any unbelieving Jew will never enter into God's real promise land for we can not enter it outside of Jesus Christ and his Church. we will only enter that land when Christ come to take us there at our death. fourth modern day Israel was created out of the world's guilt for appeasing Hitler and allowing the holocaust. fifth God promised through the prophet Jeremiah that after the exile he was in the process of sending Judah into when they would return he would make a NEW covenant and would no longer punish children for the sins of their fathers. he made that covenant in the first coming of Jesus Christ. sixth through the prophet Ezekiel he gave his certificate of divorce first to Israel and then to Judah when he sent them into exile. you conveniently ignore passages you dislike pretending they do not exist. i guess you never really read the Bible just claimed you read your Bible. last year while reading through the Bible is was surprised to find out that Solomon's kingdom was the borders that I was always told still needed to be fulfilled. i was also surprised to see how God added to the covenant he made with Abraham when he brought the children of Israel out of Egypt. several of God's promises after the Exodus were follow my commands and you be blessed if not curses will fall on you. this included the planted and never uproot which was given to the people by the prophet Jeremiah when they wanted to flee to Egypt after the murder of the Babylonian governor.

            1. The Apocalypse will NOT happen until the end of the Great Tribulation when Christ comes to set up His kingdom on earth.

            2. The land God promised to Israel is NOT just the land under the kingdom of Solomon. Please note Genesis 15:18 and Joshua 1:4 to see all of the land Gos has promised to Israel.

            3. Fact is GOD owns everything; we are the stewards. However, God did promise the land to Israel for their use.

            4. The Millennial Kingdom will include unbelievers. Those who enter the kingdom will be believers, but there will be those born during the 1000 years who will not become believers. At the end of the Milleniam these unbelievers will rebel against God.
            5. God WILL fulfill His covenant with Israel. God keeps ALL of His covenants.

you are aware that Joshua at his farewell address did declare that God had fulfill his promise to possess the land. there can be no greater tribulation for Israel than happened 67-70 AD for Israel lost their land, their temple, one killed in battle, and another million were taken to die in the gladiator games for entertainment. the Kingdom of Heaven(God) came with Jesus Christ and goes as people are converted to and believe the faith. the Bible never states that Jesus would reign on earth in Jerusalem. we are living in the millennium today. Christ crushed the serpent's head with his death on the cross and his resurrection.

          • John Adams

            1. At the point of Joshua's death, Israel was well on the the way of possessing Canan, but there was/is MUCH more land to possess.
            2. The Great Tribulation that will occur shortly following the Rapture will cause ALL other times of persecution to pale in comparison – for both the Jews and for the entire world.
            3. God's Kindom will not come to earth until after the Great Tribulation and the Battle of Armageddon.
            4. This is NOT the millennium!! Those who think so are believing a lie from the pit of HELL!!

i guess you do not read the Bible for yourself and let some else your trust interpret it for you. let me get you straight so Jesus lied to the pharisees when they asked him when will the kingdom of God come and he tells them it comes without observation and is in the hearts of the believers. and Jesus taught his disciple to pray a lie when he told them to pray "thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven". you need to sit down and read the Bible without redefining what it says literally by adding words that do not exist in the text. Christ is the fulfillment of all the promises of the Old Covenant.

          • John Adams

I'm just wondering who taught you the lies you've chosen to believe.

the apostles who wrote the New Testament. it is still surprising that you are so blind to the text of the New Testament. i read my Bible without reading the heading titles which were added by man many years later as well as the chapter and verse divisions.

          • John Adams

Please forgive me, but I don't believe you. You've been influenced by the anti-semetic forces corrupting the Church today.

        • Seymour Kleerly

There is no better proof of the danger of Religion than believing that "GOD" gave a certain land to Israel or anyone! It's 100% unacceptable in this century to allow this insane thinking to plague any of God's "children".

For every Jew they kill, 10 palestinian maniacs should die. Eye for an eye.
