Ivanka Trump, the eldest daughter of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, cut short an interview with Cosmopolitan magazine Wednesday after the publication attempted to ambush her with questions meant to portray her father negatively.

The GOP nominee unveiled his child care and maternity leave plan alongside Ivanka on Tuesday evening.

Ivanka Trump, who addressed the topic during her speech in July at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, pushed for the initiative, and had been touting the proposed policy in media interviews Tuesday and Wednesday.

The young mother and businesswoman was generous enough to grant a telephone interview to liberal Cosmopolitan, which has been vocally anti-Trump since the beginning of the real estate magnate’s campaign.

It didn’t take long before she was ambushed by the feminist publication’s Prachi Gupta.

Gupta attempted to bait the 34-year-old fashion and business leader into speaking negatively of the child care plan by asking loaded questions, including inquiring if gay couples “where both partners are men” will benefit from paid maternity leave.
