But abortion advocacy is nothing new for award-winning actress Kathleen Turner. She has been a vocal Planned Parenthood supporter for many years.

Turner is coming to the aid of Big Abortion once again this week, headlining a fundraiser for Planned Parenthood in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Star News reports Turner, known for her roles in “Romancing the Stone” and “Peggy Sue Got Married,” is scheduled to speak at an  abortion fundraiser on Wednesday in Wilmington. The evening will benefit Planned Parenthood South Atlantic.

“As I travel the country, I’m still shocked at what I see,” Turner said in a news release. “Attacks on women and women’s health are rampant. No woman should have to face these attacks to access the health care she desperately needs.”

Turner serves on the Planned Parenthood board of advocates and has been active in abortion advocacy for at least 30 years, according to the report. Her pro-abortion work includes fundraisers and donations for the abortion chain, columns advocating for abortion on the pro-abortion blog RH Reality Check (now Rewire), and more.
